MINISTER - Rev Kofi Tekyi-Ansah
We look forward to seeing you
Rev Kofi Tekyi-Ansah came to us from the Oldham and Saddlewoth Circuit on 1 September 2007.
He is married to Bertha, a staff nurse, and he also has responsibility for Dialstone Lane and Windlehurst Methodist Churches.
As a former school teacher Kofi received the call into the ministry and was ordained in 1999, his ministerial training was at Wesley College, Bristol.
He has served in the Ormskirk and in the Oldham and Saddleworth circuits respectively. Kofi, a native of Ghana, has committed his life to serving and helping God’s people, regardless of background, to achieve their fullest potential in God and for the local Church to make a positive impact in the community.
Having started his itinerant ministry 10 years ago his passion is following Jesus’ preaching, teaching and healing ministry; and because Kofi believes that miracles are an integral part of the ministry of Christ and the Church, he has a deep yearning to see the Spirit of God work in peoples lives in this way.
Kofi received a bachelor’s degree in theology and religious studies at Bristol University and is known for his practical approach to the Bible and has encouraged many to pursue a personal relationship with God and receive divine healing.
Kofi enjoys watching sports in general, especially football, and loves reading and walking among his many interests.
(Editor’s note - there is an unconfirmed report that Kofi supports the wrong Manchester football team!)
